Brazil has a tropical climate, which means sun and warmth all year round. Due to its continental dimensions, there is some climatic variation, but the average temperatures vary from 75ºF to 79ºF throughout the year. In summer, temperatures can pass 86°F.
Even in winter (just two months), sun and heat reign; in other regions, temperatures are quite pleasant. The favorable climate, allied to our extensive shoreline, answers for the majority of tourist demands among Brazilians and foreign visitors.
Our shore is 4.500 miles long and it includes countless beaches, cliffs, mangrove swamps, dunes, bays, reefs, etc. The Brazilian coastline presents favorable navigation conditions throughout the year. Besides the sea, Brazil has countless navigable rivers.
The Amazon is the second largest river in the world and is part of the earth’s largest watershed, the Amazon Watershed. Come and experience the human warmth of the Brazilian people as well as feel the ever present warmth of our climate! |
