Brazilian techniques of plastic surgery are reference for renowned foreign specialists.

 The prestige of Brazilian plastic surgery has conquered so much worldwide fame that it now serves as an example and inspiration to renowned specialists from other countries.

Dr. John J. Corey is one of them. Corey, known for his vast experience in cosmetic and plastic surgery and who, for over a decade, has dedicated his career to this area, is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has held many conferences and is considered one of the best American specialists.

Dr. Corey came to Brazil in 1993 with the sole purpose of further knowing the successful plastic surgery techniques used in the country. According to Dr. Corey, “Brazilian surgeons seem to view cosmetic surgery differently; they have a different way of analyzing beauty and the human form. We, Americans, tend to be very technical. We want to know exactly how much of a curve to make and how much to measure, whereas, Brazilian surgeons seem to be closer to more artistic methods. They do not apply the same measurements to every woman. They really believe to be sculpting a form and creating curves and figures in the female silhouette”
